431897 - tag containers are always shown under the Tags folder in Tree View

STR:
1) have or create a couple tags on bookmarks
2) Open Library and look at the Tree View (left pane)
3)(Mac only) Select the tag folder then double click a tag in the view pane

tested results:
the tag containers are always shown as children of the Tags

Expected results:
Have a twisty like a regular folder to Show/Hide the Tags folder contents.  It currently doesn't have one.

Tracy, I'm having trouble interpreting your tested and expected results. Is this a dupe of 431817 (the "Tags" folder doesn't have a twisty anymore)? Or are you saying that folders in the view (right) pane should have twisties? If the latter, than this is INVALID as the design is for folders in the view (right) pane to not have twisties (a la Vista Explorer / Finder in icon mode)

Renom if this isn't a dupe or invalid.

from bug 431817 comment 5: this will fix make Tags and Recent Tags to be considered as containers (with
expand glyph)


sorry for the confusing report.  This is a dupe of that bug.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
