If a page is scrolled with the scroll ball (Mac Super Mouse) and a graphic with a title attribute scrolls to a position where the mouse is pointing, the title does not appear. The mouse must be moved off the object and back on to it for the title to appear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. any scroll which results in a hover over an item with a title without the mouse being moved
Actual Results:  
any title does not display (as first described)

Expected Results:  
Show the title tag's content - i.e. 'Click for more info.'

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

Still present in Firefox 3.6.10 running on Ubuntu 10.04

To test: Go to xkcd.com. Position cursor alongside grey navigation boxes above main cartoon. Scroll page up using either mouse wheel (pull back) or down arrow key until cursor is over main cartoon. Hovertext is expected to appear but doesn't until mouse is moved. As soon as cursor is moved by mouse, hovertext appears as expected.

Reporter, Firefox 4.0.1 has been released, and it features significant improvements over previous releases. Can you please update to Firefox 4.0.1 or later, and retest your bug? Please also create a fresh profile (
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles), update your plugins (Flash, Java, Quicktime, Reader, etc) and update your graphics driver and Operating system to the latest versions available.

Still present in Firefox 6.0 Ubuntu.
I think this is by design - if you're scrolling, your probably not paying super attention to the cursor. You wouldn't want title-text appearing on each thing as you scroll and read the new content. The feature is intended for when you hold the mouse over a graphic tentatively and need more guidance (right?).
