We have developed automated tests for text input using various keyboard layouts. To run those tests, we have to have some foreign keyboard layouts enabled in Windows.

Open "Control Panel", "Regional And Language Options" applet, "Languages" tab, "Details" button, click "Add", and then select a language. That will select a keyboard layout for you, you can click "OK" to add that one or select another keyboard and click "OK".

Right now we have tests for US English with a US keyboard. We also have tests for Greek with a Greek keyboard but those are currently disabled pending resolution of this bug. For the future we probably want the default keyboards for all available languages installed --- sorry, I don't know of a way to automate this, so it probably requires tedious clicking.

It would probably also be good to tick "Install files for complex scripts..." and "Install files for East Asian languages" in the languages tab, while we're at it.

Thanks!
Hang on, I think I've found a workaround so we don't have to do this. We can enable the keyboard layouts programmatically. Sorry about the noise!
