432426 - Tabbing between form fields skips dropdown fields in forms

When entering information in form fields, and using the tab key to move between fields, the focus skips over any dropdown menu (e.g. States) and goes to the next text field. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a site with a form that has a dropdown menu, like "State"
2. Enter information in the text field preceding this field
3. Hit the tab key
Actual Results:  
Skips dropdown field

Expected Results:  
show list of dropdown choices

Works fine for me.  What is your setting in Mac OS X System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts > Full keyboard access?  I have it set to "All controls".

You are right. Changing this setting fixes the problem.  

I'm not sure why this didn't come up in a bugzilla search. An quick internet search, knowing what to look for, suggests it was a known issue with previous versions and could be changed in Firefox without having people change systems settings: http://www.robertnyman.com/2007/01/18/551/.

This has annoyed other people so I'm not sure what to do about the bug status.

* Bug 187508 might be where the current behavior (following the system pref) was implemented.

* Bug 338433 suggests that Camino intentionally doesn't follow the system pref.
