User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008050606 Minefield/3.0pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008050606 Minefield/3.0pre
When I first open a Minefield nightly build after my regular log in, almost the top level menus are empty almost everytime. Restarting Minefield seems to resolve this issue.
PS: Also note that there is no X button in the find bar at this time.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to the machine (windows 2000)
2. Open Minefield (using -no-remote and with custom menu positioning)
3. Try to use the top level menus.
Actual Results:
Top level menus are empty
Expected Results:
Menu content should be displayed
Running on Windows 2000 with -no-remote (also tried with MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 environment option with similar results) and forcing an alternate profile with -p switch.

Works fine for me. What do you mean with "custom menu positioning".
Hi.
Check my screenshot. I have the top menu bar next to the address bar. Didn't change anything else, I believe, no themes installed.

I put everything on one toolbar but I see no problem with the menus. Does this happen with every new profile you try?
Hi Ria.
I think you nailed it. I started Minefield with a new profile and the menus were just fine, then started it with my regular profile and the menus are gone. I have no idea of what can be causing this, though, as my profile is mainly empty (I only have a couple of bookmarks and that's it, I have my main profile back in my FF2 instalation.) Anyway I'm going to rebuild my profile and see if this fixes the issue.
Thanks.
