My proxies use ldap authentication. The freeze does not happen if the proxy is not reachable. Speculation: A race condition exists. Evidence: There is a small time window of approx 0.1sec (after the auth popup is drawn & auto-filled by password manager) that hitting enter key will complete the proxy authentication & will fix the problem. The Enter key has no effect if it is pressed outside this time window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.config browser for manual proxy that requires ldap authentication (must be reachable) 2.exit browser 3.start browser Actual Results: browser freezez Expected Results: popup auth window should respond to OK Cancel buttons
