It would be cool if we could access and control a running Thunderbird remotely with a webinterface from another system in the network.
With just some basic controls like:
- reading messages
- searching messages
- composing and sending an e-mail

Perhaps cool, but this is well outside what a good mail client should do, involves security, authentication, etc, and so isnt' going to happen. Plus there are numerous programs that can help you do it properly and well - teamviewer, etc.
