Details

Depending on when Xcode 3.1 with GCC 4.2 is officially released by Apple and when we discontinue the MOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH, we may want to land the trunk fixes for those build errors on the branch.

This is a meta-bug for tracking fixes we've made (or have bugs on making) for GCC 4.2/Xcode 3.1 compatibility to aid in that process.

(Bug 421689 is included for purposes of completeness, though it has already landed on the branch.)
It also occurred to me that I didn't check to see whether the code being patched in individual bugs exists on the branch (the Camino hunk of bug 407535 certainly does, but given all the work in gfx and widget, patches that touch those may not be needed).
