Upon starting Thunderbird get message stating new update is ready to be installed, yet once OK button is pressed message comes stating that other programs are open, to close them and then reinstall the update.
problem is does not state what 'other program', if any, is to be closed.  This happens over and over, no matter if I close down Thunderbird or reboot the machine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start Thunderbird
2.click on install of update
3. message other programs running....close then reinstall update
Actual Results:  
thats it, skippy

Expected Results:  
same thing every time

obviously, install the update, without compromising the present status of Tbird
this sucks!
