433259 - Bookmarks Delete Itself Every Few Days

For some reason, every time I save websites in my bookmarked pages, a day or 2 later, it's gone.

I have saved very important websites and only to come back and find them gone. No one else who used the computer deleted them.

I want to know why this is happening and if someone in change is going to fix it.

Tools->Options->Privacy->"Keep my history for..."

My guess is you have that set too low for your taste.

Use support.mozilla.com if you need more help.
Re-open if increasing this option doesn't work.

I suggest creating a new profile and importing your bookmarks, saved passwords, etc. over there.  Your profile is probably corrupted somehow.

Was this problem ever resolved?
(please post here rather than emailing me this time ;)

In any case, Firefox 3 is out now and has a completely re-vamped bookmarks system.  I suggest installing that and giving it a try.
