User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 2.0.0.14 (20080421) Instead of running the updater, I get a screen that says the following: "There were problems checking for, downloading or installing this update. Thunderbird could not be updated because: AUS: Update XML File Malformed (200) You can update Thunderbird manually by visiting this link and downloading the latest version: [link to mozilla.com Thunderbird page] Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Check for Updates in Help menu. The software was JUST installed a few hours ago.
Alas, this already exists as an FAQ. Oh well, I can live with a manual update.
