When I open a html or htm or xhtml file I have created on my computer with Firefox there remains a "ghost" process in the windows panel that says "Opening <file name>.<extension>" for about 10-15 seconds after the file opens.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a HTML or HTM or XHTML on your computer
2. Open that file with Firefox
3. Notice how there is a process in the panel that says "Opening <your file name>.extension"
Actual Results:
A process remained that said "Opening test.html" (or something like that) for about 10 seconds after it had finished loading
Expected Results:
After the web page opened this process didn't continue
I am using Ubuntu 8.04 with Gnome 2.22 on a laptop, Intel Core 2 1.83GHz processor with 2GB RAM and a ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics card
There remains a process in the gnome panel of my computer that says "Opening a.htm" for about 15 secons after the file opens
