User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008040907 Minefield/3.0b5 (tete009 SSE PGO) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008040907 Minefield/3.0b5 (tete009 SSE PGO) When using Firefox's image resizing capability it currently does a "fit all" when resizing images which isn't really optimal for all images. I would like to request an option/functionality to set Firefox to resize an image to either the browser width or height depending on the dimensions of the image (as described below) instead of the current "fit all" behavior. For images taller than they are wide (for example 2000x4000) I find it preferable for them to be viewed resized to the browser width. I can then just scroll up/down with the image filling the whole browser. For image wider than they are tall (for example 4000x2000) I find it preferable for them to be viewed resized to the browser height. I can then just scroll left/right with the image filling the whole browser. Would it be possible to add something like this to Firefox 3.0 as at least an about:config override? Reproducible: Always
