A blog post with a lot of comments scrolls slowly on Mac OS X. WindowServer registers as 140%+ usage in Activity Monitor. Browser is unresponsive until scrolling has stopped.
Linux is fine.
Reproducible: Always

Also seeing this on Windows (XP SP3). Scrolling with the arrows is pretty slow (dragging the marker is alright) and not very smooth. Takes about 40-50% CPU on my laptop.

This is not a regression. The scrolling is just as bad in Bon Echo however there the page layout is also garbled so we seem to be handing this better on Minefield

I experience this bug, and I also see practically the same behavior on digg.com with large pages. I'd like to know if it's for the same reasons.
In Bug 430573, mentioned elsewhere as possibly being the problem, it is guessed that "recursive iframes" could be the cause.
