Because we sometimes only have users' email addresses and not their username, site admins need to have the ability to search for users by email address from this form:
http://www.spreadfirefox.com/admin/user/search

Works fine although it can't be configured for a particular role as it does not implement hook_permissions().
I'll make that change to implement hook_permissions() and get the change committed back to drupal.org . Ill then request permission to commit this module to subversion for final testing on stage.

Momentum is now towards migrating the spreadfirefox site to D6.
This module is still down for consideration for D6 though.
