Intent: I wanted to see how a pdf file looks in Mozilla Firefox.

What I did:I chose a file on web (http://arxiv.org/pdf/math/0702396v1) and it opened within firefox using adobe acrobat as plug in. I went to toolbar>>tools>>options>>content>>filetypes-manage>> and changed the way firefox handles the pdf file by telling firefox to open the pdf file using itself that is firefox.exe instead of adobe acrobat.

what happened: The pdf file did not open . Firefox kept opening tabs continuously until I closed the application.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Ensure the setting in tools>>options>>content>>filetypes-manage>> is having the instruction that pdf file has to be opened with firefox. If it is something else, change it to firefox and save the option.
2.Open a pdf file on web.

Actual Results:
Firefox kept opening tabs continuously until I closed the application.

Expected Results:
Though I did not expect Firefox to render the exact pdf output, I expected it would at least throw some starnge charchters.

I suggest a piece of code to be put not letting the user choose the option of handling pdf file as 'open with firefox' in order to avoid the recursion.
Else put a if condition that if firefox is chosen as the opener, then loop breaks and firefox displays the content.
