User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20071008 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20071008 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.6

When restoring a session with pages that must be accessed through a proxy that requires logging in, the proxy login details must be supplied many times (often, but not allways, once for each page). Firefox often becomes unresponsive during this process, though comes to life eventually. I have seen Firefox freeze apparently indefinitely when choosing 'cancel' for many/all login prompts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Shutdown/logout with some tabs open in firefox (with url's acessed via a proxy that requires a login)
2. Login and re-start firefox
Actual Results:

3. You will be prompted several times for login details for the proxy.
4. Firefox may become unresponsive for some time during this process.
5. Eventuall Firefox stabilises and you can proceed as normal.
6. When cancelling some/all of the login popups, I have seen firefox freeze indefinitely.

Expected Results:
To be prompted only once for the proxy login details (as happens under normal operation of firefox).

It would be nice to be prompted only once for the proxy login details (as happens under normal operation of firefox).
