side-by-side layout on category page does not word-wrap long words/URLs in descriptions

The column for the description is simply too small in some instances. (see attached screenshot) Assuming we want to keep the overall layout as-is, we basically just need better word-wrapping here. URLs should be wrapped at a dot or slash near the mid-point.
Note that when the window is made smaller, it switches to a vertically listed view and fits fine. The alternative to word-wrapping in the middle would be to switch to this mode, or otherwise alter the layout.
