I have tried it on google, unknownworlds, this bugzilla and everytime I close the window, it requires me to re-login to each site. Across the same browsing session, it stays logged in fine. I recently upgraded from FF2 and it started as soon as I did. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log into a website 2. Close the browser 3. Try to go back to the website you logged into Actual Results: Websites requires login info again Expected Results: Should stay logged in (since I've told it to)
Check that you haven't told it to delete your cookies or that your cookies settings are set up correctly: Tools > Options > Privacy
Sorry, I should have specified that. Accept cookies - yes (no exceptions) Accept third party cookies - yes Keep until - they expire Always clear my private data when I close firefox - no Ask me before clearing private data - yes Upon a little closer looking, it appears my cookies are getting wiped out every time I close Firefox as when I look at the cookie list, it starts out empty when I load it.
As a small addendum: I tried turning off accepting cookies, restarting firefox and turning it back on and it still is deleting them.
Having the same issue on win XP with FF RC1 and now with RC2. For the record i use Portable FF provided by portableapps.com Settings are the same as Me provided.
Just tested without portable loader and this is obviously a portablaApps loader bug. FF remembers sessions without it.
