User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; it; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051202 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; it; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051202 Firefox/3.0 The problem occours when I visit a page with a java plug-in (precisely the page of the Citrix netscaler's administration). Every time I click on a button (only the "save" button) on the applet and then I try to open a new tab from the file menu, a new window is open instead! But if I try to open a new tab after the first attempt and without clicking on the applet's button, it works well! I can't give you the page's link couse it's accessible only locally! Hoping this will be useful for you! Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to the netscaler configuration utility 2.click on the save button 3.try to open a new tab from the file menu Actual Results: A new window is opened instead of a tab Expected Results: A new tab should be opened The theme is the standard of the Firefox 3 RC1 version
I tested it on here: http://pirate-party.us/irc/index.html and I seem to be able to open tabs just fine even after clicking on the java applet Firefox 3 RC1 / Linux / Java Plug-in 1.6.0_06-b02
=> WFM per comment 1. If you see problem when using newest java (12?) and newer FF, please reopen bug.
