User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051202 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051202 Firefox/3.0

In the list of server certificates, if you make a selection that includes a container/twisty-group and press the Delete button, nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure you have stored at least one server certificate (e.g. visit a self-signed site and add the exception).
2. Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Encryption/View Certificates/Servers
3. Make a selection that includes a container (e.g. click the top item and shift-click the bottom item, trying to delete all items).
4. Press "Delete..."
Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
Either selecting containers should make no difference (just delete any individual items that are in the selection) or selected containers should have all their children deleted. I prefer the former.
Or perhaps these groups should be unselectable like <optgroup>s, and shift-click should skip over the group headings, just selecting all the individual items. Does it make sense to select a group here?
i find this functionality anoying, there is already sufficent warning messages to avoid accidental deletion, so deleting a group i believe should delete all its children
that is the intuative functionaltiy of a UI and would really make deleting things like CAs less anoying

Thanks for filing the bug. The issue of nothing happening when a container is selected was fixed in Bug 78808.

In addition, Bug 1136338 is already filed on making it less tedious to delete/distrust a large number of entries post the Bug 78808 fix.
