User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Very occasionally, images that are loaded simultaneously by Firefox get mixed up -- the wrong image data is associated with the URI. Forcing a reload of the image (e.g. shift-reload) resolves the error. This has been observed across multiple tabs on different sites, which indicates a Firefox (rather than server) bug. A brief survey of friends indicates that this has only been reproduced on OS X: http://jered.livejournal.com/59854.html Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: No reliable steps to reproduce, unfortunately. In the context that I've observed the failure: 1. Load a LiveJournal friends page (e.g. http://jered.livejournal.com/friends/) 2. Observe userpics associated with posts, check for errors 3. Shift-reload 4. Go to step 2 Actual Results: Occasionally, incorrect image data is associated with an icon. Expected Results: Correct association of image data with URI.
This just happened again. Anyone looking at this? Any suggestions on diagnostic information I can extract?
I haven't yet seen this occur in Firefox 3.0.

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the bug, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the resolution to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.
