Firefox starts in Offline mode - depending on interface type
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008050509 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008050509 Firefox/3.0b5 Hi, whenever I start Firefox on my Ubuntu Notebook it starts in Offline Mode if I am connected to the internet with ppp and a mobile phone. If the same machine is connected with Ethernet, Firefox starts in Online mode. I did not yet find a way to have Firefox start in Online mode if on the road, which is annoying. I guess that Firefox tries to perform some 'smart' detection of whether the machine is online or not, which fails for that particular connection method. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
