Same problem here. I cannot use Google Calendar at all in Firefox due to this - I have to use Internet Explorer 7 :o(. I am using Firefox 3.0 RC1 ("Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; da; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0"). The problem also exists in Safe Mode. (For Danish users I supply the Danish error text below, so that they are able to search for the error message and find this bug report: "Cirkulær omdirrigeringsløkke Firefox har opdaget at serveren henviser forespørgelsen for denne adresse på en måde så den aldrig vil blive færdig. Browseren har afbrudt en forbindelse, fordi webstedet omdirrigerer forespørgsler til sig selv på en måde, der forhindrer det i nogensinde at blive færdig.")
Problem is still there in the final 3.0 ("Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; da; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0"). The problem is also there when I use the address https://www.google.com/calendar/render.
I just got the same error on another address: http://www.pcworld.dk/rss/hits/14817?bid=115 I mention this in case this could be a clue to what is wrong. When I get the error, the address in the address bar is: http://www.computerworld.dk/art/46825?a=rssreader&i=115 In IE 7, the error does not occur, and the resulting address in the address bar is: http://www.computerworld.dk/art/46825?a=rssreader&i=115
I found the issue mentioned at http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/static.py?page=known_issues.cs : "Endless redirect loop when accessing Google Calendar via Mozilla Firefox If you're unable to access Google Calendar from Firefox and are seeing a constantly loading page, please clear your cache and cookies. We also recommend temporarily disabling any browser extensions you're using in order to access Google Calendar." This solved the problem for me. I just deleted the cache and all cookies that were related to google.com.
