User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 This is a strange behaviour I have found in Firefox. If you enter an invalid FTP server address you'll be redirected to a firefox ftp error page (of course). But now you can go to the address bar, set the cursor in it and press enter again. This causes you being redirected to a empty ftp directory --> Firefox handels it as if the server address exists but is being empty. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter any invalid ftp address like ftp://this.is.an.error.com 2.You'll get a 'server not found' notice. 3.Set the cursor in the address bar and press Enter again. --> Firefox 'mishandels' the request Actual Results: misbehaviour Expected Results: 'Server not found' message should remain. No 'empty ftp directory' should occur. I'm using Firefox 3 RC1 on Windows Vista SP 1
