changes made to custom fields aren't recorded in the activity table.
more importantly, changing a custom field doesn't result in email updates.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. make sure there's a custom field defined
2. change the value in a bug
3. look at "activity" see there is no record of the change
4. read your email, so there is no email mentioning the change
Works fine using Bugzilla 3.0.4. Try upgrading and check again.
