User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/nightly/latest-trunk/seamonkey-2.0a1pre.cs.win32.zip The text and picture rendering on Mac Safari and Firefox (Mac) is excellent. The pages look like a printed book. The rendering on Windows editions of SeaMonkey and Firefox should look the same way. Internet Explorer 7 has upgraded their text rendering to compete. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Firefox uses Windows' default text rendering. If you want IE7's text rendering (called ClearType) to be applied to the whole system, see http://samanathon.com/love-cleartype-in-ie7-use-it-in-firefox-and-everywhere-else/

Sounds like we can close this out as 'wont fix'. Dark if you feel it should remain open please post a reason. I don't think a request of making windows look more like mac when it comes to text rendering is reasonable. Each os approaches text rendering differently.
