I don't see fail any assertions when loading the testcase, using mozilla-central on Linux (Ubuntu 8.04). Mac-only? (seems strange for a table-layout bug)

That seems odd to me. Why would table layout depend on OS?

Still happens on trunk (on Mac 10.5).
I see the assertion on Linux. My guess is that it only happens at some window widths (probably an interesting pattern).
rounding errors can be OS dependent see bug 490643 for example
