Hi guys: I'm not sure if there is actually a bug on this, but the countries on the map still aren't reflecting actual pledges. At least in Firefox 3 RC1. It's working in Opera.
Bust -- user error on my part. Cleared cache -- looks BEAUTIFUL!

Not user error - users shouldn't really have to clear their cache, IMHO.
I see the SWF object's lifetime set as "Wednesday, June 11, 2008 2:58:27 PM", which explains why even a shift-reload doesn't fix it for me in my virtual machine.
Ryan and I swear this wasn't happening in staging!

I implemented a quick fix last night that would require users to clear their cache. I have another fix that will fix it once and for all, I just have to program it :)
It will probably go out beginning of next week.

I had a "stuck" map in my virtual machine that--no matter how many times I reloaded it--displayed the same data on the Flash map (but the JavaScript <select> pulldown always reflected the correct count). It auto-updated on the next page load.
(Still, there was a 77-count disparity between the value for the U.S. in the dropdown and the value on the map, but is that just due to the difference in the Flash map's internal caching and the 5-minute interval?)

Actually meant to verify this and spin-off that last comment, if there's something that can be done to address that uber-nit :-)

Very strange they are off by a few votes, definitely a bug.

Won't have time to fix this, seems to be a complicated issue. The counts for # of downloads is correct, so once dd comes around it won't be an issue anymore.

Verified; it's still a lot better than it used to be, and Ryan's right about download counts: I haven't seen them off.
