User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 When I upgraded from Firefox 2 to Firefox 3, RC1 on my WIndows XP machine the home page shows as my Google home page, but whenever the browser launches it attempts to connect to http://1. I've set my home page to be several different sites and it always attempts to connect to http://1 upon launching the browser. If I click on the home icon in my toolbar then it will go to my home page. Weird. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch browser. 2. Launch browser. 3. Launch browser. Actual Results: Same thing. tried to connect to http://1 Expected Results: It should connect to http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en upon launching the browser. No themes installed. The only extension is Adblock Plus.
This works fine for me using latest Firefox 3.0 on Windows XP. Have you tried: - Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems - a new profile - a reinstall in a new empty folder? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox) http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
