Just installed v.3 Beta. Using Vista Home Premium on a Gateway Dual Core. When I first open Firefox, the left one quarter of the home page is off the monitor screen on the left side. Happens every time. To fix, I have to click on view, page style and select no style. Then go back to view, page style and select basic page style.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close Firefox
2. Open Firefox
3. left 1/4 of Screen is cutoff
Actual Results:
Happens every time
Expected Results:
Show the complete home page without being cut off
Homepage is Google.
I can provide a screen print copy if you let me know how to attach it.

Can you also reproduce this in safe-mode or with a new profile?

And if so, can you provide a URL for a page where this is occurring?

Hi Ria.....Started Firefox in safe mode and the screen was OK. Removed the AOL Toolbar v.5.5.8.2 Add-on that I had installed (and was working properly) with the previous Firefox v.2. Re-started Firefox in regular mode and it now works ok everytime.
Went back and downloaded the latest AOL Tool Bar, v.5.0.31.1 from AOL.com but Firefox will not allow the installation since it "does not provide security updates". It installed ok in the IE v.7.0 that I have.
Thanks for your help. I hope that if this is a bug, that it can be fixed since I'm a long time ('93) AOL fan.

See Bug 378216 for the secure updates message. The extension version is not compatible either. And when I click in the "Install Complete" dialog on OK, the dialog doesn't disappear. Maybe you can report the problems to the extension author so that he can fix it.
You can install the extension by changing two prefs in about:config (as long as you are testing the extension):
extensions.checkCompatibility to false
extensions.checkUpdateSecurity to false

Juan, do you still see this problem? Did you determine it is FF's problem?
