I have poor eyesight so use "control/scroll wheel" to increase font size on web pages where necessary.

In Firefox 2 the text becomes larger and wraps so all the text is visible. In Firefox 3 RC1 it acts like IE and spills over the page on the right hand side of the screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open web page
2.Increase text size
3.Watch as text spills off the right hand side of the screen rather than drop down to next line!
Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
Text on web pages should wrap as in Firefox 2.

Maximum text size should not be limited.

There is an option to zoom text only in the menu: View->Zoom->Zoom Text Only
Does that help?

This seems to change the zoom function to how I expect it to work.

I didn't know the "zoom text only" feature had been added.

Glad it helped.
Firefox 3 uses "full page zoom" by default (a new feature),
so "zoom text only" is a way to get the zoom behaviour of Firefox 2.

As for the maximum text size, you can increase that
by changing the hidden preference zoom.maxPercent in about:config
The default is 300, try setting it to 3000 for example
(restart Firefox for it to take effect)

FYI:  Zoom Text Only tends in various ways to mangle the page that is displayed.  For example, it doesn't wrap text within a column.  So the enlarged text occupies space that was formerly occupied by something else, e.g., an adjoining column of text, or a horizontal set of text that is below or, more often, above it.  I will file a bug report about this if I don't find one already posted.
