User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008053106 Minefield/3.0pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008053106 Minefield/3.0pre With the upcoming release of Firefox 3 and the use of OS fonts, I think some users will be surprised when some pages displays strange unreadable characters, because of missing fonts. I think the browser should at least notify the user that there are missing fonts. It will be even better to prompt the user to install them from somewhere. For example Internet Explorer prompts to install language packs. Reproducible: Always

I'm not sure about the "missing font" prompt, but it seems that a font-finder is a job for an extension.
