From the discussion in [http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.planning/browse_thread/thread/e8df0d198341dc67#], I put up a draft of a troubleshooting plugins article. * I'm tempted to make the FF2 instructions for "Determining if a plugin is the problem" on Windows the same as the Mac/Linux ones, since that method (from the old Basic troubleshooting page) doesn't get plugins outside the profile folder. * The manual uninstall parts are not that good, but I don't know if there is a really good way of doing it.
How are people going to arrive on this article?
In addition to searching, I imagined a link off of the plugins section of ((Basic troubleshooting)) - much like what is there now with Extensions and Themes (the basic idea, then a link to ((Troubleshooting add-ons))). Also maybe a link from ((Firefox crashes)), since many crashes can be attributed to plugins, and certainly a link from ((Troubleshooting extensions and themes)). Anywhere else?
Okay. I don't think users are going to search for troubleshooting plugins, but I can understand the links from other pages.

When we go forward with this, will we be able to redirect ((Troubleshooting add-ons)) to ((Troubleshooting extensions and themes))? That would break a bunch of links, not only in the KB, but old posts in the forum. I'm ready to go with this if it's OK to go, so say the word and I'll add links.
Let me review it first. Any links that use the internal syntax ((article name)) get automatically updated, when the article is renamed.
