This moved onto the radar as the #6 top crash for firefox 3 release candidates.

we need some investigation to figure out if this has been around for awhile or recent regression.

only comment that was close to making any sense or helpful was

Uptime seems to indicate most of these are start up crashes.
seems to be exclusively a problem on windows 5.1 and 6.0
OS: Mac OS X → Windows XP
This is a duplicate of 433386.
That bug reports an issue when the system clock is way off, but that's only
one of several conditions that can lead to this crash.  It's fixed in the 
next release candidate.
