Default homepage given its own tab; opening new tabs opens new tabs correctly; closing all tabs returns to the welcome screen, not "Untitled" tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I run FF2 and FF3RC1 using my default profile. Please also see screenshots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/amster/2546522294/in/set-72157605396654864/ 1. Run FF2 or a non FF3RC1 Firefox version 2. Close FF2 3. Open FF3, wait for welcome scrren 4. Observe welcome page comes up but no tab for it, my default home page gets a tab and is loaded in the background (ff3rc1_1_welcomescreen.jpg) 5. Click on the tab for my default home page---I can't get back to the welcome screen (ff3rc1_2_click_first_tab.jpg) 6. Open a new tab (ff3rc1_3_open_new_tab.jpg) 7. Close all tabs and we're back to the welcome screen (ff3rc1_4_close_all_tabs.jpg) 8. Create a new tab with Cmd+T (ff3rc1_5_create_new_tab.jpg) Actual Results: Welcome page never gets a tab control. Expected Results: Welcome page should have a tab for itself, just like on FF2. I'm running Tiger v10.4.11.
Do you still see this problem using the most recent versions of all components? If you do not, please close the bug with resolution set to WORKSFORME. (Or INVALID if caused by an add-on) If you do see the problem, please comment in the bug.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.10 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.

OK. I tried with v3.6.10 on Mac OS X: removed my profile folder in the ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox directory, started up Firefox, and got one tab for the welcome page and another tab for my default home page. Thanks.
