[In this instance I have re-uploaded as version 0.0 and deleted the first version - I am just waiting to see how the public pages settle down] Reproducible: Didn't try
I'm going to mark this WONTFIX. Making an add-on version 0 is asking for trouble, and is going to cause a ton of problems in various areas of the site due to PHP's empty() function considering 0 to be empty. I'm actually pleasantly surprised it made the version the date as a fallback.
