Have been using M16 for a week but after some time it would not load but then I
started to brows my mozilla dirs and found out that mozilla had made my
bookmarks to over 3.5mb.
And when I opend the bookmark file in a editor it was one link that had been
added humongus times.
was the anything special with that link?
Can you add it as a comment here, please.
reporter: can you duplicate the problem? if so make a .zip out of the
problematic bookmarks file and attach it as a testcase please.
Reporter sent private mail with bookmarks attached (.zip)
Adding attachment here.
umm added that as binary - not application/x-tar
Yell if there's problems.

I have not seen anything like this in recent mozilla bits on 98 or NT.
bookmakrs look fineon my current 071008 builds.
Could be a corrupted bookmarks.rdf file i guess. That's been a problem earlyer.
Reporter: Can it be that you saw wrong file with that large size?
The file you attached is only 629K when unpacked, but you mention something in
the size of 3.5 MB?
You can try deleting the "bookmarks.rdf" file on disk - it will be recreated
when you start again.
If you still have the same build there, report back and tell how it goes - if it
solved the problem-link as well.

bookmarks are not growing in current builds. Can you grab a current nightly
builds and delete your old profile and mozregistry.dat file and re-open this bug
if you still see the problem. Thanks.
