Please mention the CalDAV server name and version you are testing with. Does this issue happens with Lightning 0.8 release at well? Or is it a new issue in the 0.9pre builds? Can you specify the last build that worked OK? Please check Tools -> Error Console for calendar related messages and copy+paste them her.
Kerio 6.5.1 is the CalDAV server. This issue doesn't happen with Lightning 0.8. But I cannot tell you the last nightly version, that worked okay - sorry. following is showed in the Error Console: Fehler: pcs.charAt is not a function Quelldatei: file:///C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Administrator/Anwendungsdaten/Thunderbird/Profiles/g6qpr2x3.default/extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/js/calDavCalendar.js Zeile: 1523

I've had this problem with Lightning 0.8. The following errors are repeated a very large number of times in my error console. I have no CalDAV calendars, but do have http iCalendar and Google Calendars. Tasks do not come back after pressing the reload button, but disabling remote calendars and restarting does work. Problem just started recently after removing and adding a couple of (google) calendars. the new calendars were not my first google calendars. I'm going to dupe this bug against bug 434354 as well: the pcs.charAt errors tell the story. The failure of the CalDAV calendar to complete its intial load is wedging the composite calendar. This is a CalDAV error, so the issues described in comment #5 are not apropos (though they may merit a separate bug).
