User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 When i open a new website in a new tab Firefox 3RC2 freezes ether indefinately, for about 30 seconds or any where in between. I have no additional addons installed, apart from Firebug. How ever the bug still occurs when Firebug is disabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox. 2. Wait for the browser to stop freezing when its loading my home page. 3. Open a new Tab. 4. Enter a new URL and press enter or click go. 5. Wait for the browser to stop freezing when its loading the new website. 6. Repeat 3 - 5. 7. Get fed up and CTRL + ALT + DEL Firefox proccess. Actual Results: The browser froze for between 30 seconds or completely and does not un-freeze during the loading of a new page. Expected Results: The page should be slowly rendered with out Firefox becoming unresponsive. Default Firefox 3 XP Theme, No addons apart from Firebug (but it still does it with Firebug disabled).
PHilip, still see this in v3 started in safe mode? If not please close with resolution set to WORKSFORME.
