hey I use firefox exclusively and it seems something is triggering vistas Data execution protection thing (sorry I'm not a programmer or anything) and vista is crashing it. It's not related to the amount of bandwidth on the website as it's happened on bandwidth hogs like syndustry.ning.com and on low bandwidth websites liek craigslist.org
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
I'm not using any theme. the add-ons I have were disabled as they were non-compatible. I wasn't running any other programs, it just happens.

I am also getting so many crashes on www.ning.com so frequently as to render that site unusable.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Windows Vista x64 SP2
Note: I am using fasterfox lite and have made some changes to default Firefox network settings in about:config and some registry TCP/IP changes. However, I am not getting crashes on any other site.
It seems to me that this is likely to be a problem in Windows 7.

Workaround:
I created a new, clean profile and Firefox is not crashing on the same site. There is a problem with logging off the site (not crash, just doesn't show the resulting page) and Firefox is waiting for ning.com to send it some data.

Logoff no longer a problem. I would say that my problems with the site are because of about:config network tweaks I did.

Steven, if you can figure out which network tweak triggers your crash, or post a stack, that would be great. But please file a new bug report, since it's unlikely to be the same bug Nick hit.
