When ever i start up firefox three default web pages always appear and it will never start up with my single homepage!

Tools > Options > Main what does it say under Homepage?
tools>options>http://en-GB.start2.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official also when ever i exit firefox and go back on it my default download settings(ask where to save file) is back to default its almost as if every time i re-start firefox it's back to it's brand new state! also thanks a lot for the fast response!!!

do you lose other FF settings? (bookmarks, etc) how/where are you starting FF?

I'm having the same problem.... except these pages load every time I load Firefox... 1) http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.11/whatsnew/ 2) http://www.ask.com/?gcht=HC&o=13162&l=dis I have tried everything i know to fix this including uninstalling Firefox from my computer entirely and reinstalling it... no change... it was fine until the update now its a pain....
