Google has a new favicon, probably with some sophisticated use of alpha transparency. In the location bar and on the tabs, the bottom half of the favicon is displayed with a blue background color in stead of the grayish gradient background it should have. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Google :-)
Actual Results:  
In the location bar and on the tabs, the bottom half of the favicon is displayed with a blue background color

Expected Results:  
In the location bar and on the tabs, the favicon should be displayed with a grayish gradient background.

That seems to be a problem on 10.3.9. 10.5.3 works fine.

Saving the favicon locally and opening it with Preview.app on 10.3.9 shows the same issue.

It's an OS bug then; nothing we can do about it.
