User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1a1pre) Gecko/2008060902 Minefield/3.1a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1a1pre) Gecko/2008060902 Minefield/3.1a1pre It appears to be a problem with the extension (*.sea.hqx): * foobar.bar.baz cause no problem * something-else.sea.hqx also cause problems It appears to be ff (or gecko?) specific * bug detected in this version of ff (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1a1pre) Gecko/2008060902 Minefield/3.1a1pre), ff2, ff3 (in *buntu repositories) * ff under wine also cause this problem * ff in winXP cause the same problem * ff on macOSX cause the same problem * in dillo (ubuntu), safari (macOSX), explorer (winXP) the file is treated like any other file and I am offered to download it * epiphany (2.22.1.1, gecko-1.9) seem to also have the same bug NOT TESTED: * I have not tested if *.hqx files in general cause problems. * I have not tested *.sea.* files. * I have not read http-request-header-mumbo-jumbo sinse I know nothing about it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. From f.x. http://www.pererikstrandberg.se/tmp/ 2. Try to download http://www.pererikstrandberg.se/tmp/foobar.sea.hqx (the file contains 500 random bytes) 3. Or create your own *.sea.hqx file. Actual Results: FF "stops". Expected Results: FF it should download the file.
