User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 I transferred the whole profile from a perfectly working 2.0.0.14 installation to a new machine and installed 3.0rc2. Bookmarks were imported correctly, but personal settings (like allowed noscript-sites, or even worse, all saved passwords!) were gone Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. remove 2.0.0.14 2. install 3.0rc2 3. Actual Results: All passwords gone Expected Results: All personal settings and passwords are there like before

The installer does not touch profiles. Over to General for triage
Component: Installer → General
