438721 - tracking bug for sumo updates needed for firefox 2 to 3 transition

we might be able to change several of the recommendations made in pages like

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Lost+Bookmarks

to simpify and hightlight that firefox 3 has several key improvement that will reduce or eliminate this problem.

we could put that recommendation at the top of the page in bold, then still hang on to the addition detail for those users that can't or don't want to update until the major update happens a few months down the road.

this might also allow us to mark bugs like bug 193739 as "fixed", or encourage investigation into any remaining problems with firefox 3.

we should also look for other pages where we could make similar recommendations, and update the sumo content and the outstanding bugs.

lucy recommends any pages talking about with rdf files, lost toolbar settings, downloads not working might be candidates as well.

we could track the changes in this bug or file additional dependency bugs for the content updates.

The recommendation for http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Lost+Bookmarks

is to add bold/highlighted text at the top of the page to say something like

"Firefox 2 users that have lost bookmarks, or periodically lose bookmarks should update to firefox 3.  Firefox 3 contains several key improvements that will reduce or eliminate this problem"
