User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0
Flash objects are flickering on and off intermitantly when the URL in the Address bar is changed and the site does not reload.
This s a common process with flash developers which allows users to book mark deeplinks into flash sites. A typical library to enable this is SWFAddress (http://www.asual.com/swfaddress/)
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to flash site which changes the URL of the page without refreshing it and trigger this event.
Actual Results:
Intrmitantly, the flash object on the page will become invisible for a split second and then return
Expected Results:
The Flash object should not flicker on/off
If information exists for a work around, please contact me. We have several sites which will experience this issue when Firefox 3 is released.

I can't reproduce what you report ... but I'm not sure I understand
it.
Please give us _very_ specific and _very_ detailed steps to reproduce.

Please add screenshots and more detailed steps.
Everything looks fine when I go to http://www.asual.com/swfaddress/
with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1
Nothing flickers for me but again not sure if that's all we're expected to do to see your issue.
I can confirm this. Same for my website: http://www.frederikdelmotte.be.
If you go to the website and click on a project, Flash changes the URL with Javascript and a blinking effect occurs before the actual transition (animation) takes place. I've only seen this on Mac. Windows and Linux don't have this problem.
