We're investigating intermittent test failures, and find that this test sometimes passes, sometimes fails, even when there are no code changes. Its happened with a few builds this week. (It was happening before, as well as after, the recent NetApp woes).

Can you review how this test was written and see if the test can be made more robust?

suite: mochitest
stdio line#23603
error msg: *** 25151 ERROR FAIL should be testing with values that compute to different things for ':moz:border-end' /tests/layout/style/test/test_inherit_computation.html

Note: This test does not *break* builds, they only fail out as orange.
When did this fail? Are you sure it wasn't the result of a code change?

This test has been around for quite a while and I've never heard of it failing before.
Component: Layout → Style System (CSS)
QA Contact: layout → style-system
Summary: intermittent mochichrome test failure in test_inherit_computation → intermittent mochtest failure in test_inherit_computation, test_initial_computation, test_value_computation for -moz-border-end tests
Also, what was the exact error message? The one above is quite garbled.
In particular, are you sure this wasn't while bug 432525 was checked in?
I found similar-looking failures in the log from when bug 432525 was checked in; marking invalid.

If you have this in a long from sometime other than between 2008-06-12 18:30 and 2008-06-13 02:00, please reopen.

Confirming that in fact, this test has not failed outside of that time frame - nothing in the logs since the 13th that reproduces this output.
