439630 - Content of the specified page isn't redrawn after switching to another tab and back

When I switch back from another tab, the entire page is covered by the contents of the page from previously used tab until forced to redraw:
- scrolling causes previously hidden contents in the corresponding direction to appear but the rest of the page is still scrambled
- hovering the mouse pointer over any element sensitive to that action causes only that particular element to appear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. browse to any page on avaaz.org
2. switch to another tab
3. switch back
Actual Results:  
Page on avaaz.org is covered by the contents of the page from previously used tab.

Expected Results:  
The page should correctly redraw as it does in any other case I encountered so far.

The problem occurs in the specified Firefox version (3.0RC1 on ubuntu 8.04) but not in Windows version of RC3 in WINE (don't have Windows to test this otherwise).

I am having the same problem on a windows machine.  It doesn't always happen, but after opening a few tabs, it just stops refreshing most of the data on the tabs.

I am having this same issue on Windows. Both 3.0 and 3.0.1 RC1. Was not an issue for 2.X. According to this thread, I am not the only one: http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=1&comments_parentId=94940

It works for me. Try it is safe mode.

If safe mode doesn't help see if you can reproduce in the latest nightly.

Unable to reproduce. Reporter, please update if you are able to reproduce in safe mode or using latest nightly.
