User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Clicking on data link brings up download manager with the file, but it doesn't actually start to download
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Find a Data Link (specifically used http://www.microsoft.com/express/2005/download/offline.aspx with the iso and img files)
2.Click it
3.Observe download speeds.
Actual Results:
Download manager pops up, the file looks like its queued for download, however its not actually making any progress
Expected Results:
I would expect the download to commence, and the download manager to indicate that progress is being made in downloading the file
This is very similar to the bug 410680 however that was set up for Mac Users, while I'm running Windows XP

the new links since more than 5 years have passed.
http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express-iso
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9709969
this does not seem to be a problem anymore, the old link was replaced with a redirect to here basically. the compiler is pretty much useless because of the EULA, but it works.
